Port of Sal-Rei

The Port of Sal-Rei is located on the island of Boa Vista, which, in terms of surface, is the third island of Cape Verde. The island is characterized by its strong touristic potential, which justified the investment in the construction of a new port and in the enlargement of its embankment, in order to respond adequately to the development and increase the traffic that is foreseen.

Built in 2015, the new 160-meter long wharf, protected by a 930-meter long breakwater, has a minimum depth of 7 meters along its length. It is equipped with a Ro-Ro concrete ramp, with an associated area of embankment of two hectares, paved in blocks of concrete type UNI.
