Port of Furna
Located in Brava, the southernmost island of Cape Verde, Furna Port is certainly the most important infrastructure on the island, as it is the only access platform to the island. It is a port located in a small natural bay, to the west of the village of Furna, which fits perfectly in the local landscape.
Technical Characteristics
With the works completed in 2013, the port of Furna has two berths, one with 45 meters in length and 5 meters in depth, the other with 50 meters in length and 5.5 meters in depth.
The Port is equipped with a roll-on/roll-off metal ramp to facilitate embarkation and disembarkation of vehicles on the island.
